A law firm in Bryan, TX is seeking a highly qualified Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in personal injury law, with proven skills in managing complex litigation, client relations, and courtroom representation. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various aspects of litigation while demonstrating strong negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their cases, gather information, and provide legal advice.
  • Handle motion work, including drafting, filing, and arguing motions as necessary.
  • Manage all phases of discovery, including gathering evidence, preparing documentation, and analyzing information.
  • Conduct and defend depositions in the course of litigation.
  • Participate in mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Represent clients in court, preparing and presenting cases to achieve favorable outcomes.

  • Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate documentation of all case-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • State Bar certification in Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law (10+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated exceptional client interface skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of aggression on behalf of clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proven negotiation and trial skills.
