Job Overview: A law firm in Naples, FL, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales, land development, and financing. The ideal candidate will have specific expertise in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry, preferring to represent developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on zoning, land use regulations, and environmental issues.
  • Handle title insurance matters and resolve title issues.
  • Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, if necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions.
  • Experience in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Experience representing developers in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry preferred.
  • Juris has a doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of real estate law and transactions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Knowledge of zoning, land use regulations, and environmental laws.
