Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is looking to hire a skilled and dedicated Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have between one and five years of experience in commercial real estate law and a strong understanding of complex transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney looking to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while handling a variety of sophisticated real estate matters.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate real estate purchase agreements, leases, easements, loan documents, and related contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence for commercial real estate transactions, including title and survey analysis.
  • Prepare and review organizational and governing documents.
  • Evaluate and issue title commitments and title insurance policies in collaboration with recognized title insurance companies.
  • Facilitate the negotiation and structuring of commercial real estate transactions to meet clients' needs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout the real estate transaction process.
  • Manage closing procedures for commercial real estate deals.
  • Continuously research evolving real estate laws, regulations, and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate transactions, contracts, and property law.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficient in real estate law and related documentation.
  • Skilled in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Ability to research and stay current on real estate law developments.
