Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents pertinent to their case.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice post-hearing.
• Manage all aspects of court appearances, including trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Analyze legal precedents to assess potential outcomes for cases.
• Oversee a caseload efficiently and ensure timely management of all client matters.
• Offer detailed legal analysis to assist clients in understanding case benefits.
• Gather additional evidence to strengthen client cases and counter prosecution claims.
• Prepare clients for depositions, aligning case strategy with witness testimony and expert opinions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of criminal defense experience.
• Proficiency in handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong collaborative skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
