Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is looking to add a skilled Corporate Associate Attorney with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity transactions. The ideal candidate will bring 3-7 years of hands-on experience working in a high-caliber environment. The role involves managing complex corporate deals, offering strategic counsel, and assisting clients through intricate M&A and private equity matters. Strong writing, analytical abilities, and familiarity with Am Law 100 firms are essential to succeed in this position.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee M&A and private equity transactions from inception to completion.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to corporate transactions.
  • Advise clients on business strategies, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Provide practical legal solutions in complex corporate matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Stay current with changes in corporate law and market developments.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex corporate deals simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Am Law 100 firm or similarly sophisticated corporate practice.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and compliance issues.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
