A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Partner-level Transactional Attorney with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in transactional law, providing leadership and expertise in complex business transactions.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and other business transactions.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on transactional matters, including negotiation, structuring, and documentation.
  • Oversee due diligence investigations and analyses for transactional matters.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups on multidisciplinary matters.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, including identifying opportunities for new business and client expansion.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to transactional law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on transactional matters.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and closing complex transactions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, securities laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and business development acumen.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
