Litigation Attorney Insurance Coverage & Products Liability

Duties:

• Participate in all stages of litigation, from drafting initial pleadings to trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions, and represent clients at court hearings and mediations.
• Prepare a wide array of legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
• Review and analyze insurance policies, assess coverage issues, and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Perform in-depth legal research and draft analytical memoranda.
• Prepare comprehensive case updates and status reports for clients.
• Manage document review and production efforts in litigation matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to develop case strategy and ensure client objectives are met.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience practicing litigation, with direct exposure to insurance coverage disputes and/or products liability cases.
• Experience with discovery, motions practice, and court appearances in both state and federal courts.
• Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-critical matters while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to case management.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high degree of personal accountability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Nevada (additional state bar admissions are beneficial).

Certifications:

• No specific certifications required, but relevant continuing legal education (CLE) or specialized training in insurance coverage law or products liability litigation is a plus.
