Duties:

  • Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, answers, and motions.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Manage a caseload, ensuring cases are prepared and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop case strategies.
  • Perform advocacy and present arguments in court when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.
  • Passion for client advocacy and trial work.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California (active status).
