Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and case options.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents relevant to client cases.
• Attend pretrial hearings and advise clients on strategies post-hearing.
• Handle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Analyze potential case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.
• Strategically manage a caseload of criminal defense matters.
• Conduct legal analyses to explore case benefits and determine defense strategies.
• Gather and organize evidence to strengthen clients’ cases or refute prosecution claims.
• Prepare clients for depositions and collaborate with experts and witnesses to build robust defense strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of criminal defense experience.
• Proficiency in managing complex criminal cases across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of California.
