Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A respected law firm in Little Rock, AR is seeking a driven and skilled Associate Attorney to join its Arkansas practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creditor's rights and be eager to handle a substantial volume of cases while contributing to the growth and excellence of the firm's reputation.

Duties:

  • Manage a high volume of cases related to creditor’s rights.
  • Handle court appearances and related travel as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough discovery practices and manage depositions effectively.
  • Engage in conflict resolution with strong strategic problem-solving.
  • Participate in appellate matters and stay informed about relevant laws and codes, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and peers to enhance the firm's reputation.
  • Provide high-quality client support and demonstrate unwavering judgment.

Requirements:

  • An active member in good standing with the Arkansas State Bar.
  • Licensed or able to obtain licensure in Arkansas federal district and bankruptcy courts promptly.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience preferred (applications from newly licensed attorneys will be considered).
  • Strong familiarity with the Arkansas legal system.
  • Experience in appellate advocacy is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a significant caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Arkansas State Bar.
  • Additional Bar licensure is advantageous.
