Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney with 3 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will counsel private equity firms and portfolio companies in various complex transactions, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to firm standards.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, and general corporate matters.
• Experience at a direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience preferred.
• Admitted to practice law in GA.
