Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Provide timely and accurate work products while meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Foster positive work relationships and collaborate effectively within the firm.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices to ensure ethical and professional conduct.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and in-person meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Massachusetts and in good standing.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, preferably with exposure to private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and carry vehicle structuring is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to influence others.
  • Research and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Management skills to effectively handle responsibilities and lead projects when necessary.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
