Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in investments and fund formations across various sectors, including private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. The role requires strong analytical, writing, and communication skills to effectively support clients in complex transactions and legal matters.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely and accurate work products while meeting deadlines and expectations.
• Foster positive work relationships and collaborate effectively within the firm.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices to ensure ethical and professional conduct.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital/virtual conference calls, and in-person meetings as required.
• Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Massachusetts and in good standing.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, preferably with exposure to private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
• Experience with secondary transactions, separately managed accounts, and carry vehicle structuring is preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Good business judgment and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including persuasive communication and the ability to influence others.
• Research and problem-solving capabilities.
• Management skills to effectively handle responsibilities and lead projects when necessary.
