  • Manage mergers and acquisitions within the music sector and oversee standard music transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence for music catalog sales.
  • Coordinate copyright due diligence and trademark searches in collaboration with IP counsel.
  • Run acquisition and sale deals with oversight from senior partners.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate and music law at a prominent law firm.
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
  • Proven experience in handling corporate governance and investment documents.
  • Familiarity with both corporate and music transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

  • Strong drafting, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex legal documents and transactions.
