Duties:

  • Represent clients in environmental litigation and related class actions.

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies and case management plans.
  • Advise clients on environmental compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Collaborate with experts in scientific and medical fields to support cases.
  • Manage case files and maintain client communications.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Illinois Bar, active and in good standing.
  • 4-5 years of experience in environmental litigation, toxic torts, and class actions.
  • Background or knowledge in science or medical issues is beneficial.
  • Interest in environmental compliance and chemical regulation preferred.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Illinois Bar.
