A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Houston, TX. Duties

• Manage a substantial caseload across various litigation areas, including personal injury and construction defect liability.

• Draft and respond to written discovery requests and dispositive motions.

• Conduct depositions of parties and expert witnesses.

• Participate in mediations and court proceedings.

• Engage directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues, and support staff.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to efficiently transition between multiple cases.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
