This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with 1-3 years of experience to engage in litigation from case initiation through trial. Duties:

  • Prepare and attend court hearings and proceedings as part of the litigation process.
  • Handle motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Draft, review, and approve legal pleadings, including complaints, motions, discovery, and post-judgment proceedings.
  • Contribute to case management, ensuring timely filings and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and execute litigation tactics.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on creditor’s rights or related fields.
  • Additional licensure in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, or New York is advantageous but not required.
  • Familiarity with courtroom procedures and legal drafting is essential.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
  • Licensure in additional states (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, and New York) is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
