A law firm in Dallas is seeking a skilled M&A/Capital Markets Professional Support Attorney to work with partners, lawyers, and colleagues firm-wide to advance business development, knowledge management, profile-raising, and growth objectives for corporate practice areas, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity. The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in the relevant practice areas.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with partners, lawyers, and colleagues to develop and execute marketing and strategic plans to meet business development goals.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of marketing materials, including brochures, lawyer biographies, and web content.
  • Track cases and maintain current status information; ensure matters are reported to league tables and publications.
  • Prepare and manage responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and pitch materials.
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities to increase revenue and enhance profitability.
  • Draft articles and e-communications to promote the firm's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate on planning and executing conferences and events to promote the firm's brand and expertise.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets, or a related practice area.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and professionals across practice areas and offices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

 

Skills:

  • Experience practicing in Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of business development and marketing principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data effectively.
  • Proficiency in drafting and editing marketing materials.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
