This role involves handling a variety of employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employee rights and a strong background in employment litigation.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and motions.
  • Participate actively in mediations and depositions, representing clients effectively.
  • Work closely with fellow attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable case outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation (preferred).
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
