Job Overview:

A law firm in Clarence, NY, is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters and be adept at analyzing and litigating insurance coverage disputes. Experience with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus.

Duties:

• Represent policyholders in various insurance coverage matters.
• Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage.
• Handle insurance claims, including negotiation and settlement.
• Litigate insurance coverage disputes in court.
• Draft and review contractual indemnity and insurance provisions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present legal documents, including briefs and motions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 1-5 years of experience in insurance coverage law.
• Demonstrated experience representing policyholders in insurance matters.
• Proficiency in analyzing insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Strong litigation skills and experience handling insurance coverage disputes.
• Familiarity with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus.

Certifications:
