Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in litigation, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in legal representation.

Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve client objectives
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the Bar exam
• 1-6 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct

Certifications:

• Membership in relevant professional organizations such as the American Bar Association (ABA) or the Florida Bar Association
