Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on matters related to education law, including Title IX issues and public sector employment matters.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports and legal documents, including findings and recommendations.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, mediations, and administrative hearings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize and resolve complex cases.
• Stay updated on changes in education law, public sector regulations, and employment law to provide informed legal advice.
• Participate in firm meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting workplace investigations, focusing on public sector law or labor/employment.
• Admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Strong investigation experience and a proven ability to handle sensitive and complex cases.
• Demonstrated excellent research and writing skills, with a record of producing high-quality legal documents and reports.
• Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Strong academic background with a demonstrated commitment to legal excellence and professional growth.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
