Duties:

• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies for medical malpractice cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions to gather critical information for case preparation.
• Argue substantive motions in court with confidence and precision.
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases.
• Participate in case evaluations, mediations, and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Manage case files efficiently and adhere to deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2-10 years of substantive experience in medical malpractice litigation.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation tasks, including motion practice and deposition work.
• Strong knowledge of medical and legal terminology relevant to malpractice cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan or eligibility for admission.
