Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in the North Charleston, SC area is seeking a qualified Real Estate Closing Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions and be a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar. This is a full-time position with a focus on overseeing closings, managing real estate transactions, and providing high-quality legal services to clients.

Location:
North Charleston, SC

Duties:

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
  • Review and analyze title reports
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate seamless transactions
  • Draft and/or review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
  • Ensure clients receive a professional and engaging experience while addressing any concerns or questions
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks
  • Foster and grow business relationships for the firm
  • Conduct training and provide educational resources to clients regarding relevant areas of real estate law

Requirements:

  • Residential real estate experience preferred; however, willing to train the right candidate
  • Active member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to engage in community involvement and business development
  • Growth-oriented, with a particular focus on residential real estate
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated excellence in both academic and professional history

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the South Carolina State Bar
