A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with 2 to 3 years of experience in Municipal Law to join its growing office in Blue Bell, PA. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to represent municipal entities across a variety of legal matters while allowing for significant client interaction and a flexible hybrid work environment.

Duties

  • Represent municipal clients in zoning, land development, real estate, and code enforcement matters.
  • Handle day-to-day transactional tasks, including contract review, ordinance drafting, and addressing labor and employment issues.
  • Participate in litigation related to municipal law, providing advocacy in relevant proceedings (preferred but not required).
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical legal guidance to clients promptly.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court and administrative hearings, including zoning boards, planning commissions, and municipal meetings.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, with the potential to diversify practice areas, especially in school law.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Municipal Law or a related field.
  • Experience representing municipal entities is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to client service and effective follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the state bar where practicing.
