Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established personal injury law firm seeks an associate litigation attorney to join its growing team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on representing clients in auto liability, premises liability, and commercial claims, emphasizing strong advocacy and client satisfaction.

Location:

Duties:

• Draft lawsuits, responses to discovery, and other legal documents.
• Take depositions and conduct mediations and trials.
• Collaborate with the litigation team to support paralegals and senior attorneys.
• Analyze client needs and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Active membership in the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
• Ability to manage complex caseloads.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active North Carolina law license.

Skills:

• Proficient in writing, research, and negotiation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and public speaking skills.
• Experience with case management software and legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis).
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
