Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a municipal law practice group on behalf of a reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience representing municipal entities, handling land use, and/or real estate development matters. This position offers the opportunity to diversify legal practice across other disciplines within the firm, fostering professional growth and development.

Duties:

  • Represent municipal entities in legal matters related to municipal law.
  • Handle land use and real estate development cases, providing legal counsel and support.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies.
  • Assist clients in navigating complex legal issues and regulations related to municipal law.
  • Prepare legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and agreements.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and trials as necessary to represent clients' interests.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting municipal entities.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in municipal law, land use, or real estate development.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to advocate effectively for clients in a legal setting.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar License (required).
