Job Overview:
A reputable Charleston-based law firm seeks a skilled Attorney to join their dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role is focused on labor and employment law, as well as civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance, conducting thorough research, negotiating effectively, and representing clients in various legal matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel on labor and employment law matters.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in civil litigation, including hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and contracts.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the legal process.
• Stay updated on labor law and civil litigation developments to offer cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the West Virginia State Bar.
• Proven experience in labor and employment law, and civil litigation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the West Virginia State Bar.
