Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A dynamic law firm in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. This position offers immediate responsibility in handling a wide range of litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, auto/trucking liability, bad faith, professional liability, and insurance coverage claims. Location:

Duties:

• Engage in all aspects of litigation, including pre-lawsuit investigations, case analysis, and trial preparation.
• Handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and preparation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and motions.
• Manage cases from inception through trial and appeal, ensuring timely case progression.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to manage multiple cases.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle discovery, depositions, and trial preparation with minimal supervision.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Georgia.
