This role is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a valid California Bar license who is passionate about making a positive impact through meaningful legal work. The firm specializes in areas such as public safety, land use, and local government law, helping communities maintain high standards in various aspects of local governance.

Duties:

• Assist in representing public agencies and local governments in litigation matters.
• Work on cases related to code enforcement, housing standards, land use, zoning law, and nuisance abatement.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare and conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage cases.
• Attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on regulatory compliance and public safety issues.
• Conduct legal investigations, fact-finding, and gather evidence to support case strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies that align with the client's objectives and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar License.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
