A law firm seeks a skilled Attorney with 2 to 7 years of litigation experience to join its team in Texas, offering the flexibility of a remote position. This full-time role focuses on handling product liability cases in mass torts from the initial filing through to trial. As a member of a collaborative team, the Attorney will work closely with seasoned litigators and contribute to strategic case management while defending client interests in high-stakes legal matters.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other complex legal documents.
  • Assess case strategies and provide legal recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Defend clients during depositions and represent them in motion arguments.
  • Manage case timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines and effective case progression.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support ongoing litigation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas with a clean standing.
  • Minimum of 2-7 years of litigation experience, particularly in mass torts or product liability cases (preferred).
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to manage complex litigation and strategize case plans.

Education:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

  • Legal research and drafting expertise.
  • Strong writing skills, particularly in creating complex legal documents and motions.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and case management.
  • Effective communication skills for both oral and written advocacy.
