Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct consultations with new clients regarding potential employment claims.
  • Evaluate cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime claims, and wrongful termination.
  • Manage the claims process from initial assessment through to resolution.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with staff and managers to coordinate case screenings and consultations.
  • Draft legal documents, including notices of claims, EEOC charges, and state charge forms.
  • Work closely with EEOC investigators, presenting evidence and supporting client claims.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active law license or awaiting Ohio bar results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and maintain professionalism.
  • Proficiency in multitasking with strong organizational and time management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law or awaiting Ohio Bar Exam results.

Skills:

  • Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, demonstrating advanced time management and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.
