A reputable law firm located in Oakland, CA, is seeking a skilled Transactional/Public Entity Associate Attorney. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive legal support to public schools and community colleges, helping them navigate a broad spectrum of operational legal matters. This position involves working on various transactional and litigation issues including real estate, public contracts, and construction law.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on a wide range of operational issues for public entities, focusing on K-12 schools and community colleges.
  • Handle real estate transactions, including leases and property-related disputes.
  • Advise on public contracting matters and construction procurement.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and provide litigation support in contract disputes.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve legal issues related to construction and public sector operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-4 years of legal practice experience.
