Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Department in Florida This role focuses on estate planning and trust administration, working with high-net-worth clients to implement tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, and succession planning. The ideal candidate has a strong background in trusts, estates, and tax law, with a client-centered approach.

Location:

  • Miami, FL

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive estate planning and trust administration services
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies for clients, including business succession and asset protection
  • Manage estate and trust administration cases both within and outside the Florida court system
  • Collaborate with team members to address the needs of high-net-worth clients and fiduciaries
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Florida state and federal tax laws

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in private client matters, trusts and estates, tax, and succession planning
  • Strong technical skills and a high level of client service orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on advocacy
  • Collaborative mindset with problem-solving abilities and creativity in developing client solutions
  • Active member of the Florida State Bar in good standing

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar membership

Skills:

  • Proficiency in estate planning, trust administration, and asset protection strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • High attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities
