Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential real estate law
  • In-depth knowledge of title examination, contract drafting, and closing procedures
  • Experience handling client, realtor, and lender relations
  • Proficient in relevant industry software
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut Bar
  • Current Connecticut Notary commission
  • Ability to travel to various locations for closings, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Connecticut Bar
  • Connecticut Notary commission (required)
  • Additional Bar memberships or Notary commissions in neighboring states are a plus
