Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an ambitious and driven Entry-Level Immigration Attorney. The role involves managing a caseload of immigration cases, representing clients in various immigration matters, and working closely with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties:

• Provide clear explanations of immigration law and propose strategic solutions to clients.
• Represent both detained and non-detained individuals in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a personal caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.
• Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and file diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Review immigration application packets and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community-based organizations on immigration law updates.
• Offer strategic consultations to potential clients, advising on legal strategies.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for court appearances and USCIS testimony.
• Submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
• Provide legal analysis to help clients understand possible case outcomes and benefits.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and strategize with fellow attorneys.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
• Proven track record of effectively managing legal cases.
• Experience in Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian applications, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, and other USCIS applications.
• Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active law license in good standing.
