A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join a thriving practice focused on public infrastructure and real estate projects. This full-time position is based in Denver, CO, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days a week. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience and will work with a diverse range of public and private sector clients, assisting with real estate development, infrastructure finance, public-private partnerships, and compliance with various legal frameworks.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on matters related to real property law, construction, contracting, and compliance with constitutional and statutory requirements.
  • Draft and review court filings, contracts, agreements, and other necessary legal documents.
  • Assist with the legal aspects of local government elections, ensuring compliance with relevant election laws.
  • Collaborate with district management, accountants, and board members, providing legal guidance and support.
  • Review and verify accuracy of real property title work and legal standing.
  • Interpret and evaluate legislation affecting clients, offering informed legal advice.
  • Maintain regular communication with Shareholders, Paralegals, and clients to ensure smooth task management and advisement.
  • Keep track of billable hours and meet required monthly targets.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior legal staff, including Paralegals and Legal Administrative Assistants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to draft legal documents clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a self-starter attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator with a proven ability to maintain rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic legal environment.
  • A commitment to high-quality legal service and teamwork.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • Prior experience in public infrastructure, real estate law, or related fields is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Colorado State Bar license required.
