Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from intake and investigation through settlement or trial.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and manage their medical treatment progress.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records.
  • Draft settlement demands and other legal documentation.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies or opposing counsel.
  • Assist senior attorneys with litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Coordinate with case managers and other staff to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law or insurance defense.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Comfortable with litigation procedures, including pleadings and discovery.
  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
