Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its oil and gas practice, focusing on preparing title opinions for oil and gas development in North Dakota. The ideal candidate will possess over three years of North Dakota oil and gas title examination experience and demonstrate exceptional writing skills.

Duties:

• Prepare and review title opinions for oil and gas development projects.
• Conduct thorough title examinations and research to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to provide strategic legal advice on oil and gas matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements related to oil and gas transactions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
• Assist in the development of legal strategies to mitigate risks and enhance client outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in North Dakota oil and gas title examination.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Proven analytical abilities and exceptional writing skills to produce high-quality legal documents.
• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• An active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with the capacity to promptly gain admission in North Dakota.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
