A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and lead general litigation matters in its Kendall Park, NJ office. Duties

  • Manage a diverse range of litigation cases, from initial consultation through resolution, with minimal supervision
  • Handle all aspects of law division, chancery, special civil, landlord/tenant, and matrimonial cases
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and correspondence, and respond to discovery requests
  • Conduct depositions, attend oral arguments, and prepare for trials or arbitrations
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, advocating effectively on their behalf
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Maintain professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all legal and client interactions

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of litigation experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and manage a high volume of cases
  • Experience with appellate court matters is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent client service

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing membership with the New Jersey State Bar (required)
