A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to join its team in Naperville, Illinois. The firm specializes in creditor’s rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and real estate transactions, serving clients across several states, including Illinois. This position focuses on default and foreclosure services, providing comprehensive training to ensure success in the role.

Duties:

  • Review and execute legal documents and pleadings with precision and accuracy.
  • Draft and execute legal documents, perform in-depth legal research, and provide practical solutions to legal issues.
  • Represent clients at court hearings and other legal proceedings related to foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage case files efficiently and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.
  • Prior experience in default services (preferred but not required).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address legal matters effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
