Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Syosset, NY, is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join its rapidly growing team. This role focuses on representing clients in the commercial and residential mortgage industry, including foreclosure, bridge lending, mortgage transactions, and loan workouts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lender default services and litigation, with strong expertise in handling complex real estate and mortgage-related matters.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload from inception through conclusion.
• Review, draft, and finalize motions and legal documents for court submission.
• Represent clients at settlement and mediation conferences, status conferences, and oral arguments.
• Draft motion papers and other documents for litigated matters.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to default mortgage litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in foreclosure, real estate law, or related fields.
• Proven experience in lender default services and complex litigation.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of New York Supreme Court procedures and processes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
