Duties:

• Assist in the defense of a broad spectrum of professional liability cases, including those involving construction, design professionals, and legal practitioners

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare case strategy under supervision

• Participate in discovery, including depositions and document review

• Engage in client communication, reporting, and case analysis

• Collaborate closely with seasoned litigators and support staff to manage caseloads efficiently

• Contribute to trial preparation and attend proceedings when appropriate

• Embrace ongoing feedback and development plans aligned with personal career goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in the defense of professional liability matters

• Demonstrated ability to manage casework in a collaborative legal team setting

• Solid understanding of civil litigation procedures and best practices

• Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal writing and case management

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• An active member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Skills:
