Job Overview:

A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking experienced attorneys to join its Securitization/Structured Finance practice. The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in securitization and structured finance and a strong background in CLO, CMBS, Repo, and other ABL finance transactions. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial transactions and collaborate with a dynamic team of attorneys.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate securitization and structured finance agreements, including CLOs, CMBS transactions, repos, and asset-backed loans (ABL).
  • Conduct due diligence and review legal documents related to securitization and structured finance transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on complex financial matters.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years practicing law, focusing on securitization, structured finance, and structured products.
  • Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Credentials: Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record of success in a law firm environment.
  • Bar Admission: Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, preferred.

Certifications:

  • Preferred certifications include specialized training in securitization, structured finance, or related financial law courses.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
