Entry-level Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Entry-level Associate Attorney to join their team in Crystal Lake, IL. The Entry-level Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in the firm, contributing to legal cases with a focus on civil litigation. The successful candidate must be licensed in Illinois, with a preference for those with a background in financial services, creditors' rights, or bankruptcy law. Recent law school graduates will be considered, and transactional experience is a bonus. Strong skills in legal research and brief writing are essential, along with solid analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties:

• Participate in civil litigation cases, contributing to the legal team's success.
• Provide legal support with a focus on financial services, creditors' rights, or bankruptcy law.
• Conduct legal research and brief writing to support case preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyze legal issues and develop strategies.
• Utilize transactional experience to enhance legal services.

Requirements:

• Recent law school graduates will be considered.
• Prior background in financial services, creditors' rights, or bankruptcy law is preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
