Location:

Duties:

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
  • Review and clear title issues
  • Work closely with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions
  • Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
  • Provide professional client service and address any questions or concerns
  • Review disbursement ledgers and sign checks
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships to support firm growth
  • Conduct client training sessions on relevant real estate law topics

Requirements:

  • Residential real estate experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and in a team-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with a track record of community involvement and achievement
  • Focused on growth with a residential real estate emphasis

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar

Certifications:

  • South Carolina State Bar Membership (in good standing)

  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents (contracts, deeds, leases, etc.)
