Associate Attorney - Litigation & Debt Recovery

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their legal team in Tucson, AZ. Duties:

• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients.
• Assist in the preparation and management of cases for trial.
• Handle labor and employment law issues as part of the firm’s practice.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Manage a caseload and meet deadlines effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and mediate disputes.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the legal field is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to consider new graduates who are passionate about pursuing a career in litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the state of Arizona (or willingness to obtain).
