Duties:

  • Manage and handle Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) cases from initial intake through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to vaccine injury claims.
  • Draft and file petitions, motions, briefs, and other legal documents required for VICP cases.
  • Prepare and present evidence in hearings, including preparing witnesses for testimony.
  • Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and other stakeholders to build strong cases.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their VICP claims and the compensation process.
  • Stay updated on changes in VICP regulations and relevant case law.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and before the VICP Special Masters and Court.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience handling Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) cases.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to become admitted promptly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and drafting abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for advocacy and a commitment to justice for clients who have suffered vaccine injuries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:
