A law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Senior Real Estate and Financial Services/Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, solid large law firm experience in real estate finance law, and exceptional writing and communication skills.

 

Duties:

  • Handle large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including loan origination work, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity
  • Manage asset management and workout experience
  • Run transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing
  • Handle secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies

 

Requirements:

  • JD required
  • 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience
  • High level of academic achievement
  • Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law
  • Superb writing and communication skills

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in real estate finance law
  • Ability to handle complex transactions
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with loan origination and asset management
  • Ability to run transactions from inception through closing and post-closing
