Duties

• Handle a diverse caseload involving family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
• Provide legal advice and represent clients in family law cases, ensuring clients are informed of their rights and options.
• Draft and file legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of clients.
• Manage communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.
• Develop case strategies and work toward favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines for court filings and other legal processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of family law experience, including managing a variety of cases.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally and empathetically.
• Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and correspondence.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work model and flexible scheduling.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
