Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Represent clients in high-stakes personal injury cases, leading litigation efforts from filing to resolution.
• Meet with clients to discuss case details and legal strategies.
• Draft and respond to legal discovery requests.
• Schedule and attend depositions for witnesses and experts.
• Coordinate expert witnesses and oversee expert testimony preparation.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Prepare cases for trial, acting as lead counsel in the courtroom.
• Draft and file post-trial motions as necessary.
• Participate in regular case audits and litigation strategy meetings.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey and in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience in personal injury litigation.
• At least two jury trials served as first chair, with a history of successful outcomes.
• Ability to handle a large caseload independently, from case filing to trial.
• Strong leadership capabilities to direct and manage legal support teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Certifications:

• Active law license in New Jersey.
• Certification in personal injury law or related specializations is a plus, but not required.
